Exploring Workspaces

Discover new studios, gyms, schools, and other workspaces on Booqd using the Explore page — search, filter, and join with just a few taps.

Find Workspaces That Match Your Interests

The Explore page is your gateway to discovering workspaces on Booqd. Whether you're looking for a yoga studio nearby, a language school, or a personal training gym, the Explore page helps you find and join the right places quickly. You can search by name, browse by industry, and view detailed workspace cards before deciding to join.

Searching by Name

At the top of the Explore page, you'll find a search bar. Type any part of a workspace's name to instantly filter the list. The search works in real time — results update as you type, so you can quickly find a specific studio or school even if you only remember part of the name.

✅
If you're not sure of the exact name, try searching for a keyword related to the workspace — for example, "yoga" or "pilates." The search matches against workspace names and descriptions.

Filtering by Industry

Booqd organizes workspaces into industry categories so you can narrow your search. Tap on an industry filter chip to show only workspaces in that category. You can select one industry at a time, or clear the filter to see all available workspaces.

Understanding Workspace Cards

Each workspace appears as a card on the Explore page. The card gives you a quick overview before you decide to learn more or join. Here's what you'll typically see on a workspace card:

▮

Logo & Cover Image — The workspace's branding, helping you recognise it at a glance.

▮

Name — The workspace's display name.

▮

Description — A short summary of what the workspace offers and who it's for.

▮

Industry Badge — A coloured badge indicating the workspace's category (e.g., Fitness, Education).

▮

Member Count — How many members have already joined, giving you a sense of the community size.

▮

Session Count — The number of sessions or classes available, so you know how active the workspace is.

▮

Labels — Optional tags the workspace owner has added (e.g., "Beginner Friendly", "Advanced", "Online").

How to Find and Join a Workspace

1

Open the Explore page

Tap the Explore tab in the bottom navigation bar. The page loads all publicly listed workspaces.

2

Search or filter

Use the search bar to type a workspace name, or tap an industry filter chip to narrow results to a specific category.

3

Browse workspace cards

Scroll through the results. Each card shows the workspace's logo, name, description, member count, session count, and industry badge.

4

Tap a workspace card

Tap on any card to open the workspace's detail page, where you can see the full description, upcoming sessions, instructors, and more.

5

Join the workspace

On the workspace detail page, tap the Join button. Some workspaces let you join instantly, while others require the owner's approval first.

Workspace Labels

Workspace owners can add labels to help you understand what they offer at a glance. Labels appear as small tags on workspace cards and detail pages. Common labels include things like "Beginner Friendly", "Advanced", "Online Sessions", or "Free Trial Available." These are set by the workspace owner and vary from workspace to workspace.

Pull-to-Refresh

The Explore page may not always show the very latest workspaces if you've been browsing for a while. To refresh the list, simply pull down from the top of the page. This fetches the latest workspaces and updates all cards with current member and session counts.

Newly created workspaces appear on the Explore page once the workspace owner publishes them. If a workspace you're looking for doesn't appear, it may still be in setup mode or set to private — try joining via a QR code or invitation link instead.

Yes. The Explore page shows all publicly listed workspaces on Booqd regardless of location. You can use the search bar to find workspaces by name if you're looking for something specific in another area.

Workspaces that are still in setup mode, set to private, or not yet published won't appear on the Explore page. You can still join these workspaces using a direct invitation link or QR code from the workspace owner.

You can view basic workspace information and some session details on the public workspace page. However, to book sessions and see the full schedule, you'll need to join the workspace first.
