Share Your Experience After Every Session
Booqd lets you rate and review sessions after you've attended them. Your feedback helps other members discover great classes, gives instructors valuable insight into what's working, and contributes to the overall quality of the community. Ratings are simple — a 1-to-5 star score — and you can optionally add a written review for more detailed feedback.
When Can You Rate a Session?
You can only rate a session after it has been completed and you were marked as having attended. This ensures that ratings are based on actual experiences. You'll typically see a prompt to rate the session shortly after it ends, either as an in-app notification or on the session's detail page.
Attended sessions only — You must have been present (checked in or marked attended by the instructor) to leave a rating.
After session end time — The rating option becomes available once the session's scheduled end time has passed.
One rating per session — You can rate each session you attended once. You can edit your rating later if you change your mind.
How to Rate a Session
Open your completed bookings
Go to the Bookings tab and look at your past or completed bookings. Sessions eligible for rating will show a rating prompt or a star icon.
Tap the session to open details
Open the session detail page. If you haven't rated it yet, you'll see a Rate this session section.
Select your star rating
Tap on the stars to select a rating from 1 to 5. Each star level represents a different quality level: 1 = Poor, 2 = Fair, 3 = Good, 4 = Very Good, 5 = Excellent.
Add a written review (optional)
Below the stars, you can type a text review to share specific feedback. This is entirely optional but very helpful for instructors and other members.
Submit your rating
Tap Submit to save your rating. It will be visible on the instructor's profile and the session's detail page.

Where Ratings Appear
Your ratings and reviews are visible in several places throughout Booqd, helping the community make informed decisions:
Instructor profile — Each instructor's profile shows their average rating and total number of reviews. This helps members compare instructors.
Session detail page — When viewing a session, the average rating from past occurrences is shown, giving you an idea of what to expect before booking.
Workspace overview — Aggregate ratings may appear on the workspace's public profile, reflecting the overall quality of the workspace's offerings.
Aggregate Ratings
Booqd calculates aggregate ratings by averaging all individual ratings for a given session type or instructor. This means a single unusual rating won't drastically change the overall score. As more members rate sessions, the aggregate becomes more accurate and useful. Instructors can also view their rating trends over time to track improvement.
Yes. You can edit your star rating and review text at any time by going back to the session detail page. You can also delete your review entirely if you change your mind.
Yes. Reviews are linked to your profile, so instructors can see who left them. This encourages honest and constructive feedback.
Instructors can report reviews that violate community guidelines (e.g., offensive language, spam). The Booqd team reviews reported content and may remove reviews that violate the terms of service.
