Booking a Class

Booking a class on Booqd is quick and straightforward. Follow these steps to reserve your spot.

Browse the schedule for a class you want to attend

Step-by-Step Booking

Open the Schedule

Navigate to the Schedule page from the sidebar or dashboard.

Select a Session

Click on the class you want to book. Review the date, time, location, and instructor details.

Choose Your Payment Method

If you have an active membership with credits, it will be used automatically. Otherwise, you'll be offered a drop-in payment option.

Confirm Your Booking

Click "Book Now" to confirm. In most cases your spot is reserved immediately. However, some instructors require manual approval — in that case your booking will appear as "Pending" until the instructor confirms it.

Check Your Confirmation

You'll receive a confirmation email and the booking will appear in your "My Bookings" section. If approval is required, you'll be notified once the instructor approves or declines your booking.

If the class is full, you'll see a "Join Waitlist" button instead. You'll be automatically booked if a spot opens up.

Booking with a Membership

If you have an active membership with available credits, one credit will be deducted when you book a class. The system automatically applies your membership so you don't need to do anything extra.

Drop-in Booking

Without a membership, you can book individual classes as drop-ins. Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time of booking.

Bookings Requiring Approval

Some instructors require manual approval before a booking is confirmed. When this is the case, your booking will have a "Pending" status instead of being confirmed right away.

You will receive a notification (push, in-app, and email) when the instructor approves or declines your booking. If your booking is declined, any membership credit used will be refunded automatically.

You can cancel a pending booking at any time before it is approved. Go to My Bookings and click "Cancel".

Appointment Booking

Some workspaces offer flexible appointment booking in addition to scheduled classes. With this mode, you can pick a date and time that works for you based on instructor availability, rather than choosing from a fixed class schedule. This is common for personal training, tutoring, and consulting.

Billing Profile Required for Payment

If you are paying for a class (drop-in or single payment), you must have a billing profile set up before proceeding to checkout. The system will prompt you to fill in your billing details if they are missing.

Set up your billing profile once in Settings > Billing and it will be used for all future payments. See Billing Profile for details.

Be aware of the cancellation policy before booking. Late cancellations may result in a lost credit or charge depending on the workspace's policy.
