Billing Profile
Your billing profile contains the information used for invoicing when you make payments on Booqd. This data appears on payment details and is available to instructors for their accounting and invoicing needs.
Setting Up Your Billing Profile
Navigate to Billing Settings
On the web, go to Settings > Billing. On mobile, open the Profile tab and tap Billing Information.
Choose your billing type
Select Individual if you are paying as a private person, or Company if you are paying on behalf of a business.
Fill in your details
Enter your billing name, address (country, postal code, city, street), and optionally your tax ID. For companies, the tax ID field is highlighted as it is typically required for business invoices.
Save your profile
Click Save to store your billing information. It will be used automatically for all future payments.

When Is the Billing Profile Used?
At checkout — The system verifies your billing profile exists before allowing payment.
On payment details — Your billing data appears as the "Buyer" section in the payment detail view.
In CSV exports — Instructors can export payment data including your billing information for their accounting.
For invoicing — Instructors use this data to issue invoices through their external invoicing software.
For Instructors: Business Information
If you are an instructor, your billing profile serves as the "Seller" data on payment details. Additionally, you can set your business name and tax ID in your profile settings (Settings > Profile). These appear on every payment detail where you are the service provider.
Yes, you can update your billing profile at any time. However, changes only apply to future payments. Past payment details retain the billing data that was on file at the time of payment.
No. Your billing data is only visible to you and to the instructor of the workspace where you made the payment. It is used exclusively for invoicing purposes.
Currently, Booqd supports a single billing profile per account. If you need to use different billing details, update your profile before making a payment in a different workspace.
