Linking Social Accounts
Booqd allows you to connect your Google or Apple account for a faster, password-free sign-in experience. Linking a social account does not replace your email and password â it simply gives you an additional way to log in.

Linking Your Google Account
Open your profile settings
Navigate to Settings > Profile from the sidebar or by clicking your avatar.
Find the Connected Accounts section
Scroll down to the Connected Accounts area. You will see Google and Apple listed with their current connection status.
Click Connect next to Google
Click the Connect button next to the Google logo.
Sign in to Google
A Google sign-in window will appear. Choose the Google account you want to link and grant permission.
Confirm the link
Once authorized, you will be redirected back to Booqd. The Google row will now show Connected with your Google email.
Linking Your Apple Account
Open your profile settings
Navigate to Settings > Profile from the sidebar or by clicking your avatar.
Find the Connected Accounts section
Scroll down to the Connected Accounts area.
Click Connect next to Apple
Click the Connect button next to the Apple logo.
Sign in with Apple
An Apple sign-in prompt will appear. Authenticate with your Apple ID. You can choose to share or hide your email address.
Confirm the link
After authorization, the Apple row will show Connected. You can now use Sign in with Apple on supported platforms.
Unlinking a Social Account
If you no longer want to use a social account for sign-in, you can disconnect it at any time from the same Connected Accounts section. Click the Disconnect button next to the provider you want to remove.
Where to Manage Linked Accounts
All social account connections are managed in Settings > Profile under the Connected Accounts section. On mobile, go to Settings > Profile from the bottom tab bar. You can see which accounts are connected, when they were linked, and disconnect them at any time.
Common Questions
No, you can link one Google account and one Apple account per Booqd account. To switch to a different Google account, disconnect the current one first and then connect the new one.
No. Linking a social account only adds it as a sign-in method. Your Booqd email address remains unchanged.
Nothing changes on Booqd. Social sign-in uses secure tokens, not your password. You will just need to re-authenticate with the new password next time Google or Apple asks.
