Messages and Notifications on Mobile
Push notifications and workspace messages keep you connected to your classes and instructors. From booking confirmations to schedule changes, the Booqd app ensures you never miss important updates.
Setting Up Push Notifications
Allow notifications on first launch
When you open the app for the first time, you will be asked to allow push notifications. Tap "Allow" to enable them.
Check your device settings
If you missed the prompt, go to your device Settings > Notifications > Booqd and enable notifications there.
Customize in the app
In the Booqd app Settings tab, you can fine-tune which types of notifications you want to receive.
Notification Types
Workspace Messages
Instructors can send messages and announcements to their members. These appear in the Messages section of the workspace. You might receive updates about schedule changes, holiday closures, special events, or general news from your instructor.
Managing Notification Preferences
If you find notifications too frequent, you can adjust your preferences in the Settings tab. You can toggle individual notification types on or off while keeping the ones most important to you. Disabling push notifications on the device level will silence all Booqd notifications.
Profile & Settings on Mobile
Edit your profile information, switch between light and dark mode, change your language, manage linked accounts, and sign out from the Booqd app.
Managing Bookings on Mobile
View upcoming and past bookings, cancel reservations, check waitlist status, and access booking details from the Bookings tab.
